The column Memory and Regeneration on the magazine World Architecture/Shijie Jianzhu published by Tsinghua University in Beijing is curated by Alberto Bologna (DiAP-Sapienza University of Rome), Michele Bonino (DAD-Politecnico di Torino) and Pierre-Alain Croset (DAStU- Politecnico di Milano). The aim is to present and discuss exemplary projects of urban regeneration and transformation of architectures, establishing a critical debate between China and the West on topics related to the meanings of the redevelopment of the existing built environment.
