Zhang Xinwen

Zhang Xinwen is a first-year Phd student in the field of Architecture at the Politecnico di Torino, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Architecture, History, and Project. She earned her master’s degree at the Politecnico di Milano majoring the landscape architecture, with the thesis Temporary Design and the Olympics: A Research by Design Proposal for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. Inspired by this research and based on her academic background, she is now preparing to further investigate the relationship between mega-events and industrial heritages, aiming to address the relative research gaps in this realm.
