Yixin Zhang

Yixin Zhang is a joint PhD candidate at Tsinghua University and Politecnico di Torino. With a background in both architecture and urban planning, she focuses on employing technological solutions to address challenges in the human living environment. Her research interests include urban renewal and 15-minute city. The exchanges at Taiwan’s Chaoyang University of Technology and Japan’s Hokkaido University, coupled with her studies in Europe, has positioned her to conduct comparative research that bridges Eastern and Western perspectives. She has published several articles in SCI and SSCI journals and has been involved in multiple domestic and international projects. She has been recognized with the Tsinghua University National Scholarship.
