Yicheng Wang

Dr. Yicheng Wang is a postdoctoral researcher in architecture and building performance design. Her research focuses on performance-oriented design evaluation, optimization, and decision-making for urban mega projects and develops interdisciplinary methods to improve architect-led workflows. She earned a dual Ph.D. in Architecture as the first dual-degree graduate of the joint program between Politecnico di Torino and South China University of Technology (cum laude). She is the team leader of the collaborative SCUT-POLITO team, contributing to the NZE house LONG-PLAN, which won first prize at Solar Decathlon China 2018. She joined China Room in 2021 and conducts research at the State Key Laboratory of Subtropical Building and Urban Science.
