Jingxiong Huang

Jingxiong Huang is a joint PhD candidate in the Department of Urban Planning at Tsinghua University (Urban Planning Technology and Science) and the Department of Architecture and Design at Politecnico di Torino (Architecture, History and Project). He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Urban Planning from Xiamen University. His master’s thesis was titled Research of Tourists’ Visual Preference Features and Street Space Optimization for Improvement of Street View Perception: A Case Study of Gulangyu. His research interests lie in applying technological solutions to address issues of spatial demand and supply in urban environments. His current work primarily focuses on the measurement and optimization of cultural ecosystem services related to urban parks. He has been awarded the National Scholarship in both Tsinghua University and Xiamen University.
