Xiaoxu Liang

Dr. Xiaoxu Liang holds a PhD in Architectural Heritage from the Department of Architecture and Design at Politecnico di Torino, where she is currently a postdoctoral researcher. Her research focuses on advanced digital tools and analytical frameworks for documenting urban and rural transformations in the context of cultural heritage and assessing related risks. Dr. Liang has served as a visiting scholar at the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) and is currently an Emerging Professional of the International Committee for Architectural Photogrammetry (CIPA) as well as an active member of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the Association of Critical Heritage Studies (ACHS). She is actively engaged in fostering collaborations between Politecnico di Torino and Chinese universities, particularly with Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT).
