Saurajeeta Bose Paul is a student in the double Ph.D programme of History, Theory and Project at Politecnico di Torino and Tsinghua University for the theme of Urban Heritage and Legacy between Asia and Europe. She is interested inthe relationship between modernity and heritage in the BRICS and the role ofspecialized press for knowledge exchange.She is an architect from India, and contributed to the publication titled Indigenous Habitat: Vestiges of Tribal Life in India’s North East as a researcher. She completed her Masters from Politecnico di Milano, with her thesis titled Building a New Discourse wherein she studied the Indian architectural journals published from 1980-2000 to mark the transition of the power structures and the policies transforming architecture and its related discourse post the economic liberalization and globalization in the India.
