Based on the four operational spaces of the project Prosperous Lishui, ten sites of particular interest have been selected within the valley to explore limits and potentialities of the design hypothesis. The following ten sitespecific projects have been developed by architecture students within three educational experiences: the ateliers of the master’s programs during the second semester of A.Y. 2020–2021 Prosperous Lishui: Envisioning new relations between urban and rural areas in contemporary China (Politecnico di Torino: Architecture and Construction of Cities) and Prosperous Lishui: Living the infrastructure (Co-Run Master’s of Science Program in Urban Design: Politecnico di Torino and South China University of Technology), and the thesis workshop of A.Y. 2021–2022 Lishui Living Lab (Politecnico di Torino).
