Opening Summer School!
The summer school is organized by China Room and the FULL interdepartmental center – Future Urban Legacy Lab of the Politecnico di Torino. In the area between Corso Regina, Corso Potenza and Via Pietro Cossa in Turin. During the summer school weeks, a transformation toolkit will be produced that can demonstrate both the effectiveness of architectural, urban and construction solutions adopted as well as the economic and environmental sustainability of the intervention.
The work of the summer school will close on Wednesday 24 July with the presentation of the elaboration scenarios developed in the presence of the Rector of the Politecnico di Torino and a representation of Acciai Speciali Terni and of the Municipal Administration of the City of Turin.
Participants include 19 students of 10 nationalities from the Politecnico di Torino, Tsinghua University of Beijing, the Technion Israel Institute of Technology and the Università di Firenze, followed by a faculty composed of 12 professors and 9 teaching assistants.
TRANS-USE is supported through the contribution of the “Summer school competition 2019” of the Politecnico di Torino and the research agreement between the Department of Architecture and Design and Acciai Speciali Terni S.p.A
