Title:
PANDEMICS & THE CITY Symposium
+
TENDER MACHINE Lecture
Organizers:
“Eyes of the City” curatorial Team
Period:
18th of April (9-12:00)
It is with great pleasure – and with a bit of melancholy too – that we announce the online closing event of the 2019 Shenzhen UABB Biennale. Within the Biennale, the “Eyes of the City” exhibition reflected on the way digital technologies have reversed the anonymity of XX Century urban space, making the city a space where overlapping gazes look, record and react. We dedicate this last event to the questions that we feel are currently most relevant for architectural discourse in a City with Eyes: how is urban space affected by the out-of-scale emergency that we find ourselves in? How can we design what comes next? And where does the new relationship between human and machine come in? An exceptional lineup of guests will reflect on these issues, and more.
Participation is open to all. Zoom’s room (Meeting ID: 856 937 4792 / Password: 909609).
