Boris Svartzman, independent director and PhD candidate at EHESS, will present and discuss together with Prof. Michele Bonino (Politecnico di Torino) and Prof. Giovanni Andornino (Università degli Studi di Torino) his documentary entitled “A New era”.
During 7 years, he filmed in an immersive way a group of peasants fighting against the authorities which used the pretext to build an Ecological Parc in order to grab their land. The question that emerges is: will they share the same fate of 5 billions of Chinese peasants expropriated yearly?
