The China Center of Politecnico di Torino organizes the forum “Sustainable urban challenges within Europe and China” within the program of events of Biennale Tecnologia 2020. Saturday 14th November 2 pm CET live streaming on “Canale Online Atena”.
The talk moderated by Michele Bonino will gather the interventions of Stefano Boeri from Politecnico di Milano, Bernard Müller from Technische Universität Dresden and Zhang Li from Tsinghua University.
The main topic will be how the concept of sustainability, globally discussed, is perceived by European and Chinese cultures:
“More sustainable cities are constantly being discussed, both in Europe and in China. But what sustainability are we talking about? Whether it is the environment, social integration or technological innovation, the distance between the two cultures and the different phase of development lead to very different urban challenges”
