Within the program of the 2022 ABE TALK organized by the University of Nottingham – Department of Architecture and Built Environment – Prof. Michele Bonino will give a lecture to present the project recently developed in the Shougang venue for the XXIV Winter Olympic Games in Beijing. The redevelopment of the Oxygen Factory – recently published in The Story of a Section. Designing the Shougang Oxygen Factory, ORO Editions, 2022 – will cross the experience of industrial regeneration in China as well as deal with the ambitions of the Olympic mega-event.
